Account Manager

Account Manager

Description

The Account Manager (AM) is the trusted business adviser of his/her client base.  She acts as a long-term ally, strategic orchestrator, and business consultant. Responsibilities primarily include prospecting, developing and managing accounts, and consequently delivering customer loyalty and resulting revenue stream.  She also ensures the smooth implementation of the solutions she sells by coordinating with the trainers and support groups.

 

Responsibilities

 

  1. Engages in new business development activities

    1. Creates and maintains prospect list

    2. Generates leads through prospect calls

    3. Engages referrals

    4. Participates in marketing events, e-mailings, association memberships, social media marketing, and other business development efforts.
       

  2. Develops and manages a customer account base

    1. Visits important clients at least twice in a quarter

    2. Develops and expands business opportunities with clients

    3. Understands company business issues, strategic responses, and functional challenges

    4. Understands decision makers’ roles, degree of influence, mindset, personal needs, and business needs

    5. Provokes clients by providing a different perspective in their situation

    6. Provides relevant links from company products and services to decision-makers needs

    7. Plans and implements for stellar customer experience (Respect, Solutions, Responsibility, and Simplicity)

    8. Develops deeper, wider, and higher relationships within

      customer organization

  3. Uses selling skills

    1. Builds the credibility and earns the right in analyzing and gaining agreement, developing and agreeing upon solutions, communicating and implementing, demonstrating success, and growing the relationships

    2. Utilizes all levels of communication in reaching out to decision makers, including phone conferences, one-on-one and small group informal meetings, written proposals and formal stand-up presentations

    3. Uses the Selling Process, including, where appropriate, open, discover, satisfy, close, handling indifference, and resolving concerns.

    4. Offers program deliverables, pricing, and terms and conditions to interested accounts, and if ever, negotiates to obtain agreements
       

  4. Participates in individual development activities

    1. Attends classroom and online workshops to hone skills

    2. Participates in coaching sessions and on-the-job experiences with others in the organization

    3. Shares insights with other account managers

    4. Actively studies program content of what the organization sells
       

  5. Coordinates the administration of the client servicing

    1. Conducts customization interviews with participants and their managers

    2. If required, assists in the development of case studies and role plays specific to customer needs

    3. If required, coordinates attendance of participants, prepares and sends pre-work materials

    4. Coordinates with the assigned Program Leaders on the scheduled consultation and/or workshops

    5. Assists in the logistic details of the consultation and/or workshop

    6. Summarizes workshop evaluation and presents to the account

Account Executive

Account Executive

Description

The Account Executive (AE) represents the company and its US-based franchise partners in the Philippines. As such, the primary responsibility during the first six months is to learn.  The AE attends workshops and training programs to equip himself/herself with the knowledge and skills needed to become a successful representative.  In addition, the AE markets and visits prospects to develop new businesses for the company as he/she hones the selling skills. The AE works with other salespeople to support their account development process.

 

After the first six months, the AE develops his/her own bigger accounts, nurtures them, and delivers the required sales revenues to justify his/her sales position.  


 

Responsibilities

 

  1. Participates in individual development activities

    1. Attends workshops, seminars, and training programs

    2. Participates in coaching sessions and on-the-job experiences with the others in the organization

    3. Integrates new skills and knowledge into daily activities with customers and prospects

    4. Creates and manages an individual development plan in order to achieve individual development goals

    5. Submits weekly/monthly activity reports
       

  2. Assists in developing customer prospects

    1. Conducts research on market potential using various resources, such as phone, internet, libraries, and other sources

    2. Creates and maintains customer and prospect lists

    3. Conducts account research, including company background, history, organizational structure, size, and key contact
       

  3. Engages in prospecting and new business development activities

    1. Initiates account development activities

    2. Identifies accounts that have the potential to be elevated to Corporate status

    3. Generates leads through prospect calls, participation in marketing events, mailings, association memberships, and other business development efforts
       

  4. Manages the Public Session Programs (to be discussed)

    1. Handles the Public Session customer accounts

    2. Prepares and conducts the marketing activities to ensure prospects  are informed and invited to the sessions. This includes newspaper and/or association advertisements, emails, mailers, phone calls.

    3. Offers program deliverables, pricing, and terms and conditions to interested accounts, and if ever, negotiates to obtain agreements

    4. Confirms attendance of participants, prepares and sends pre-work materials

    5. Coordinates with the assigned Program Leaders on the scheduled workshops

    6. Assists in the set-up of the workshop, receiving and registration and the pull-out of materials

    7. Prepares other

      workshop related requirements, such as workshop directory, certificates, and workshop assessment reports

  5. Criteria to be regularized

    1. Successful completion of all workshops and training programs in the development plan

    2. Demonstrated ability to generate leads that become customers

    3. Demonstrated ability to effectively present the MEGI’s capabilities in a formal sales presentation

    4. Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to customer needs that involve multiple products

    5. Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others in the organization

    6. Demonstrate ability to organize a training event using KT project management processes

Research Officer

Description

The Research Officer (RO) is fundamental to the development of new solutions that Manila Execon will offer to its clients. The RO is also expected to immerse him/herself in the current solutions of the company to further improve them and be able to deliver current and future solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Develop new solutions

    1. Conduct research on potential topics that Manila Execon can offer

    2. Coordinate with SME’s and/or conduct further research for topics identified viable for execution

    3. Craft content of solutions to be rolled out (e.g. framework)

    4. Monitor development of the solution and make necessary revisions

    5. Orient Program Leaders on newly formed solutions 
       

  2. Immerse in current solutions

    1. Participate in learning programs of the organization

    2. Study and evaluate current products of the company in both substance and delivery

    3. Create and implement changes in the matter or manner of delivery of the products
       

  3. Engages in individual development activities

    1. Attends classroom and on-line workshops to hone skills

    2. Participates in coaching sessions and on-the-job experiences with others in the organization
